Flat bed frustrations
A reader comment on our posting (ajaxnetphoto.blogspot.com/2006/11) concerned with cleaning flat bed scanners wondered why just the glass platen was not cleaned first to gain some idea of possible improvements.
There is more to come on this subject. Part II is in preparation and will be posted before Christmas. In fact, there is a whole lot about scanners, dedicated film, as well as flatbeds in the 'work in progress' file; interested parties watch this space.
